GIGI KOHL
 

      Gigi Kohl (she/her) is a musical theatre performing artist originally from a small suburb of Chicago, IL and has had the opportunity to evolve her skill in the Musical Theatre BFA program at Texas State University. Her love for storytelling through the art of theatre centers around the ability to connect, provoke thought, and stimulate necessary change. She views her artistry as her superpower.

 

      Gigi found her passion for this art form at 7 years old after performing as Mr. “Mistoffelees’ Kitten” in CATS and has been seen in a variety of musicals since then. She’s most recently performed as “Mother Superior” in Sister Act and “Hotbox Dancer Cyd” in Guys and Dolls at Texas State University.

      Outside of theatre, Gigi enjoys songwriting, reading, and spending quality time with her beloved family and friends. She also dedicates much of her time towards her advocacy for postvention, the organized facilitation of healing and support for survivors of suicide loss. Her platform for this advocacy has been through the Miss America Organization. She competed at the Miss Texas 2025 Competition and placed as a Semi- Finalist along with winning both the Rookie and Overall Talent Awards.

      Gigi Kohl looks forward to continuing touching lives in her pursuit of a career in the musical theatre performing arts industry and will be moving to New York in the year of 2026, post graduation from Texas State University.
